Unable to start Azure free trial despite never using it before

I have a Microsoft account and am trying to start a free trial for Azure as part of my Bootcamp program. However, I receive a message saying that I already have an account. Does this mean that using other Microsoft resources prevents me from activating the Azure free trial? I only want to use Azure for my classes to learn and become certified. I have never used Azure with any of my profiles, and it seems to be looking only at my profile information and not allowing me to use it unless I pay for it. Is the only way to use the free subscription for Azure if you have never used any other Microsoft service requiring an account?

    Hi @Ndubisi Azuogu ,

an Azure Free Subscription is limited to one use. There are multiple factors verified, for instance email address and credit card details. If you ever had a free Azure Subscription with one of these you get this message.

I am not aware of conflicts with other Microsoft products and Azure Free Subscription.
