Hi Team, How to change the population status option within the full-text catalog properties from "Processing notifications" to "idle". I have checked online, but couldn't find much info, so posting here for help. Thanks in advance!
To be true, I don't understand what you mean here? FTS processing runs asynchron and goes into "idle" when the update is finished.
DBName --> Storage --> Full Text Catalogs --> FullTextTest(FulltextcatalogName) --> rightClick and select properties --> Within the generalpage --> I am seeing the option for "population status" as Processing notifications. I want to change the processing notifications to idle
From what I noticed, the "SQL Full-text Filter Daemon Launcher" service was in a stopped state on the server. I have started the service, but I still see the population status as processing notifications. Will this get automatically changed to Idle in some time, or is there any action that has to be taken?

Then wait until the process finished.
