Hello, During the last months I found a problem with five computers in our company: when they log into Windows the system stops and we have to press shutdown button to restart (neither control+alt+delete works) This problem occurs randomly. Sometimes is one of these five computers, another day is the other computer...but they still freezing occasionally. The computers are new, they were bought in different stores a few months ago (some even a few days ago) These computers are different: they are not by the same brand and model, and they have different specifications. We have a DELL Vostro 3520 Intel Core i5-1135G7 8GB 512SSD, a Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Business Intel Core i7-1260P 16GB 512SSD, a Dynabook Satellite Pro L50-G-135 Intel Core i3-10110U 8GB 256SSD... so I don't think this could be a manufacturing problem. All of them have Windows 11 Professional 64 bits with all the Updates installed. I checked that there's no other update available for Windows and hardware drivers are also updated. DISM, SFC and memtest did not detected any problem. I don't know what else can we do. I think that it should be a Windows bug or something. I don't think that it could be a problem of the RAM memory... Did someone find the same problem lately? How can you resolve it? Thank you very much for your help. Best regards.

In my case, it was a problem with the gpu driver. I relied on the one automatically installed by windows and didn't bother installing the official one myself. Turns out, there was a conflict once newer windows updates were installed, and randomly caused my pc to freezeright after logging into the desktop.

I just manually installed the latest driver for my gpu, which I got from the manufacturer website, and never had the issue again. I had no clue this could be a gpu related problem, but it really was.

Hello, According to your description, you have tried a lot of methods. I suggest that when system freezes we could press Ctrl+Alt+Del check if task manager could be opened. If so, system not totally hang. If not open, system freeze totally, we could only try to capture crash dump file. Some other steps you could try to check. Disable antivirus or antimalware tool temporarily. Event Viewer: Use Event Viewer to check system logs around the time of the freeze. This can potentially give you clues about what is causing the issue. Clean Boot: Perform a clean boot to eliminate any software conflicts. To do this, type msconfig in the Windows search bar and press Enter. Under the Services tab, check the “Hide all Microsoft services” box and then click “Disable all”. Under the Startup tab, click “Open Task Manager” and disable all startup items. Then restart your computer. Check Disk Errors: Open Command Prompt as an administrator, type chkdsk /f and press Enter. The system will scan and fix any potential disk errors. Best Regards, Hania Lian
