When we use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client to connect to an AVD host. More often than not we will receive this error message: User's image

Remote Desktop

Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons:

  1. Remote access to the server is not enabled
  2. The remote computer is turned off
  3. The remote computer is not available on the network  Make sure the remote computer is turned on and connected to the network, and that remote access is enabled.   [^] Hide details  [OK]

Sometimes it can take 8-10 attempts before we are presented with the login box to connect which it will do but something is not right?

A similar issue can occur using the web client We know it's related to the Primary WAN connection because it doesn't happen on the secondary WAN or when staff are using it from Home.

We've updated Firewall firmware, rebooted all connectivity kit, uninstalled and re-installed the app.

I've checked the MTU size and checked with the comms provider and they don't see any drop packets or line issues?

I've tried to capture the RDP log and convert it to CSV but I didn't see anything that stood out.

Not sure where to go from here?
