Hello all,
Here clearly mentioned: Current versions of the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015-2022 only support Windows Vista, 7, 8.1, 10, and 11.

2024-01-24T19:08:51.75+00:00 Well, my .net app is using a .net component which also needs Visual C++ 2022, so my final app will need it to be installed as well. Few years ago I tested it on Vista and it was working fine, seems at some point they dropped Vista support for Visual C++ 2022, so need to know the latest VC++ 2022 redist version that can be installed on Vista. Is there a release history for VC+2022 with download link for each version? Thanks :)

2024-01-24T20:02:04.56+00:00 Earlier versions of the VC++ 2022 redistributables should be available from Dev Essentials at Your Downloads and Product Keys According to VS2022's Build Apps that Run on Windows Clients it does not support targeting Vista. However, earlier versions of VS that are still in support (e.g., 2019, 2017, etc.) do support targeting Vista. It therefore seems contradictory that the VC++ 2015-2022 redistributable would not support Vista. IMHO, this question should be addressed by Microsoft.

2024-01-24T21:20:56.5333333+00:00 Not worth the effort for an ancient OS! Decided to remove Vista from supported list and set the minimum req to 7, in exchange for one user loss (no idea why he's still on Vista) :D
