we would like to set the new teams client as default application for different protocols / filetypes. this can be done with the group policy - template "set a default associations configuration file" (XML-template) https://admx.help/?Category=Windows_10_2016&Policy=Microsoft.Policies.WindowsExplorer::DefaultAssociationsConfiguration but it seems, that the new teams client is using a dynamic app-identifier-value (due to msix / modern app, new installation-folder is c:\program files\WindowsApps....) and this value is changing at the latest after an update of the client. (even if we generate an XML-template, for the new teams client were multiple different identifiers set) how do you register the new teams client as default for the TEL-protocol for example?

update: if we just use the XML-export and apply it with the GPO, the default registration seems to work. event with different app-identifier-values... :-)
