NET STATISTICS SERVER not working (Windows Server 2019)

I was doublechecking to make sure some updates were applied to one of our Windows 2019 file servers last weekend, and when I run the command net statistics server I get the error indicating that the syntax of the command is NET STATISTICS [WORKSTATION].

I've never seen this before (unless on a non-server OS). The Server service is currently running. Any thoughts on why it suddenly thinks it isn't a server anymore? User's image

Hello, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. As we can see, currently your Windows Server cannot be recognized as a server, if you have made any change recently? Meanwhile please try below method and see if it helps: 1.Run command as Administrator and see if it works 2.Open CMD Window and run sc query lanmanserver to check if lanmanserver service is running properly 3.Open PowerShell and run Get-smbserverconfiguration to collection the file server SMB configuration Best Regards, Hania Lian
