Are you able to switch the authentication method? Often when asked to confirm our identity we have several options. One is the authenticator app but if you have a phone number or alternate mail linked to your account that can solve your issue. The option for another method should be a blue text (as seen in the picture below)
Want to change password and mobile number on account but authenticator not allowing me
I want to change my password and mobile number on my account
I am then asked to verify my identity using the authenticator app.
I am then asked to approve sign-in request, and is asking me to go to the app that i am already on to confirm this. I cant confirm this though and i am just going around in circles.
I want to get this changed asap as i had an email saying i had a suspicions login in from a chrome browser, and i never use chrome so this is quite concerning.
