Hi,

Recently I upgraded Windows 10 version. Now it’s 20H2 (OS Build 19042.610).

Moreover, it’s Windows 10 Enterprise edition. That’s why I see Local Users and Groups in Computer Management.

In Local Users and Groups, I see, Guest account is disabled. I enabled Guest account.

Now Guest account is enabled but I don’t see it in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts\Manage Accounts and in Settings > Accounts > Family and other users.

I signed out my account. However, I don’t see Guest account at login screen.

Please let me know, how to use Guest account?

And what are privileges of Guest account in Windows 10?

With Regards
NndnG

    Hi anonymous user,

The guest account lets other people use your computer without being able to change PC settings, install apps, or access your private files.
Do note however that Windows 10 no longer offers a Guest account to share your PC, but you can create a restricted account to emulate that kind of functionality.

    Hello,

AFAIK, Microsoft removed Guest account in Windows 10. You can create a local account instead with name such as Visitor etc. and put it into guests local group. As the 'Guest' is a reserved word, you can't create a new account with this word.

    Hope this helps!

    Hi,

As guest account is deprecated in Windows 10, so even if you active the account with command line, it is also not able to show in sign-in screen to let you login.

We recommend to use the following measure to create a restrict account to instead of guest account.
