In Microsoft 365, when I click on File tab it stalls? Why?

It seems like this happens when I am working with multiple documents in Word and Excel. I just opened a couple or Word documents (both on my drive and in Sharepoint) and then opened a couple of

According to your description, this question seems to be related to Office, so we would move the irrelevant tags(office online server).
Object Linking and Embedding (OLE) is a feature that allows Office applications to interact with other applications. It allows one editing application to send part of a document to other applications and then import or take it back together with other content. Common reasons for the error to pop-up are corrupted add-ins or Excel opening a file that is created on another application or obtain data from an active source.
