I have a new Windows 2022 Standard server running SQL 2022 Web Edition with all of the latest updates. Out of the blue the server crashed and the memory dump listed msquic.sys as the faulting module. From everything i have read MSQUIC is only available in Azure Edition but is available in all Editions for IIS which the server is not running. Thoughts??? https://blog.workinghardinit.work/2021/10/11/iis-and-http-3-quic-tls-1-3-in-windows-server-2022/ https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/networking-blog/enabling-http-3-support-on-windows-server-2022/bc-p/2748375/highlight/true

Hello, Try below methods to fix BSOD MSQUIC.SYS:

    1. Try boot machine into safe mode and then retry the operation:Start your PC in safe mode in Windows - Microsoft Support
    2. This may cause by a driver, try run driver verifier: Start a Command Prompt window by selecting Run as administrator, and type verifier to open Driver Verifier Manager. Driver Verifier - Windows drivers | Microsoft Learn
    3. Sometimes the problem may not be the driver and just the third-party applications and services. Try perform clean boot: How to perform a clean boot in Windows - Microsoft Support
    4. Update Drivers, If the driver verifier found the particular one, you can update that driver and see if it solves the issue. Press Windows + ‘R’ and type devmgmt.msc to open Device Manager. Find the device and double-click on it to expand. Double-click on the driver and go to the Drivers tab. Click Update Driver and choose Search Automatically for the drivers.
