enter two different values from the same Data validation list

Question

I need to be able to plug in two different names in one cell from a set data validation list. We use excel to layout where employees will be working every day in our clinic. I need to be able to assign at least two clinical staff per doctor but i cannot split the cell without creating a new column. I just need to be able to plug in two clinic staff members name in the same cell within one column.
