I am not able to create Azure Storage Account to my free trial account.

I am not able to create a Storage Account to my free trial account. It gives me below error every time I try to create a storage account. "Validation could not be completed due to an error. If this issue persists, please contact support." I tried with PowerShell as well but no luck. It would be really great if anyone can help here. Thanks

Good Morning.

Please refer to the below image. I recently joined in an Online course . Classes are going on but some how i am stuck at creation of Storage account due to this error.

I have tried multiple ways like

I have cleared the cookies information - cleaned with C Cleaner
Tried in various browser such as Edge, Chrome and Fireforx
Created another Free azure account and pay as go account

But every day i am getting this error., I now storage account not recommended to create mutilple time but some how this error not willing me create a fresh copy as well.

Would you please check this and provide the solutions as soon as possible

Hello Varun Goel, Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum, thank you for posting your query here! I would request you to please try creating in some other region, it could be a interim issue. Also please check if you have Registered 'Microsoft. Storage' in the resource providers menu in the Azure subscription. Select the item and click on 'register' on the top of the page. Also please review the Validation errors and check if you are seeing any of these and resolve with the mitigation steps provided in the doc. Hope this answer helps! Please register 'Microsoft. Storage' in the resource providers menu in the Azure subscription.

To register for Microsoft. Storage subscription, please follow the steps below:

Go to the Azure portal and sign in to your account.

Click on Subscriptions from the left-hand menu.

Select the subscription you want to register for.

Click on Resource providers from the left-hand menu.

Search for Microsoft.Storage and click on it.

Click on Register to register [Select the item and click on 'register' on the top of the page] the resource provider as shown in below image.

Once registered try creating a storage account refer - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-account-create?tabs=azure-portal for detailed guidelines.

I followed this solution above and it worked for me- Varun, highlight Microsoft.store from the list of Resource Providers (as directed above) and then at the top, select Register. It takes a few moments, but will register. Refresh the screen after a few minutes. Then go back to creating a Storage Account. You may need to use that full 24 character length for a uniqh Storage Account name. Good Luck

Hi Varun , Can we get the screenshot of the error message while creating the Azure storage account? and also mention under which section you are encountering this issue while spinning up the Azure storage account, if you are still clueless, try to connect with Azure support team.
