In Azure DevOps - Change Project's Process impact

In Azure DevOps We created our Project with the default Agile Process several months ago and a Backlog is full of items. We would like to customize the User story States and probably other parameters. So, I created an inherited Process from Agile default, and did modify the User Story - States of this new Process. Now I want to assign this new Process to my project, it seems simple. In this documentation per example we see that there is an impact on the actual Work items because it change from Basic Process to Agile https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/devops/organizations/settings/work/change-process-basic-to-agile?view=azure-devops I get it. My question is : Is there a possible impact if changing from the Default Agile to an inherited Agile ? I think there is not but I ask because I can't see a way to rollback if the backlog get messed ... PS you should add a Azure DevOps tag in the Q&A Assist
