When using AutoML I cannot add a dataset. I am trying to add a .csv file. I get processing error.

To resolve the issue,

please ensure you're following Azure documentation steps.

Verify .csv file format, and check user permissions.

Try with a different file.

For creating a local file, follow these steps: Link to Azure Documentation. You can create the MLtable from the .csv as well.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the file. It gave me a processing error when I tried to add the data asset in the studio.

I attached screenshots. The first screenshot is form the instructions of how to convert csv to mltable. The second screenshot shows that when I try it Screenshot 2024-02-05 000036.pngdoesn't let me add a file, only a folder.

Hi @RL,

We have tried with the .csv dataset, we are able to successfully create the dataset in ml.azure.com for both types i.e File (uri_file) and MLTable.

Note: For MLTable, put your .csv file inside a special folder created for this purpose and it would allow you to SELECT that folder.

Please find the snapshot for the successful upload in both cases. If possible please share the csv file to debug on this.

This system does not let you add csv files so I converted it to txt. I tried using v1 and it worked. When I tried this way a few weeks ago I don't think it worked. It is not working when I use a folder. I attached screenshots. It gives error.
