I had always assumed that the profile card was immutable, just something Microsoft surfaced its own way. However, it looks like we now have a couple of possibilities, firstly a registry modification (this has limits to the breadth of exposure, as its Win32 Apps only, doesn't affect web access) https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/customize-the-profile-card-in-win32-apps-using-registry-keys-449afd21-6e5e-4b1f-8051-6515630d7537 More interestingly there is also an MS-Graph approach (MC217813), and I am liking this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/add-properties-profilecard I have not tried either approach to date.

    Hi @Vamsi Chavali

You cannot add employee IDs to a user's Teams contact information. Currently, user contact information is only affected by the contact information added in the M365 Admin Center.

    User's image

To get this feature more quickly, you can send a feedback directly to Microsoft Feedback to add it in future updates.

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.

Thanks for your understanding and support.
