Hi guys,

So is it possible to monitor SQL Server 2008 in SCOM 2019 ? i have imported almost all SQL monitoring management pack.

After reading the below SQL Server mgmt pack guide, I understand instead of importing all the SQL management packs from catalog, we can simply import the limited ones below and it can monitor SQL 2012 to 2019.

Your suggestion please. we would like to monitor SQL 2012 and above only. But if we want to monitor SQL 2008 as well, recommend the mgmt packs.

    Hi @Saravanan Balasubramanian ,

To monitor SQL Server 2012 - 2019 you use the new version-agnostic management pack:
Microsoft System Center Management Pack for SQL Server

To monitor SQL Server 2008 you will also have to import the latest version of the SQL Server 2008-2012 management pack:
Microsoft System Center Management Pack for SQL Server
