Cannot login to school account

Hello, I cannot login to my school account because the authenticator app will not give a code. I cannot login to my authenticator app through school email because it does not give the option for the code to be sent to the email. How can I fix this? I have Uninstaller and reinstalled several times, no updates are listed. Even that mfasetup doesn't give the option to send the code to an email. Thanks.

    Answered my own question! Called the school IT, they redid the authentication and now I'll just use my number for codes.
