Simplifying On-Premises to Azure Data Lake Data Transfer in Adf

Is there an alternative method in Azure Data Factory that eliminates the need for a managing a VM or running a Self-Hosted Integration Runtime to transfer data from on-premises databases to Azure Data Lake?

Hey, One can access the On Prem Data via ADF securely via either Self IR or Private end point : Access on-premises SQL Server from Data Factory Managed VNet using Private Endpoint - Azure Data Factory | Microsoft Docs But in both scenarios there is a need of a VM. There might be a scenario (though not absolutely sure/tested out myself). wherein you can whitelist all the IPs of the ADF and enable some ports for you to access database from ADF directly but that might lead to some network security issues which a good network person might confirm on
