    Hello Khushi kumari,

Thank you for posting in Q&A forum.

If you perform inter-forest migrations or intra-forest migrations.

By default, sIDHistory, password, and objectGUID are all preserved during intra-forest migrations, but this is not true for inter-forest cloning.

If you perform inter-forest migration and you migrate SIDhistory, you need additional requirements, for more information, please read the part "sIDHistory migration requires the following additional dependencies" in the link.

If you migrate SIDhistroy with command line or script, there are additional requirements, for more information, please read the part
"Additional requirements for migrating sIDHistory with the command line or scripting interfaces" in the link.

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/identity/inter-forest-sidhistory-migration-with-admt

Also, please check if you have migrate the SID history successfully. And check if there are related permissions about new domain users on the files or folders.

I hope the information above is helpful.

If you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.

    Best Regards,

    Daisy Zhou
