How to migrate authentication without using the original authentication device

I signed into my work account on my old phone and since I got a new phone I hadn't have to use it. I have realised that I am unable to approve the authentication to my work account (I do not get any notification) and I am thinking that those notifications get sent to my old phone instead but I no longer have the old phone. How can I make my new device receive the authentication instead ?
