Webhook action authetication

Hello Team,

I have ServiceNow URI to create request in Service Now. It uses basic authentication with username and password before creating request in service now.
I am stuck at this authentication point, not sure how to pass the username and password when I am using this ServiceNow URI in azure action groups.

Hi @JamesTran-MSFT , I am referring Microsoft sites only https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-monitor/platform/alerts-log-webhook. and Microsoft document about how to create webhook actions on a rule.

When we create webhook action for external URI (such as service now) I want to pass username and password for that URI but I dont see any option to do so.

Can you please help in this?

@Ajit Chaudhari Apologies for delay in getting back to this thread. Post some research , could find the service now documentation for the exact requirement you are looking for. Would request you to go through that and see if that caters your need.

Also other possible way to integrate with ServiceNow is to Create a scripted REST API in ServiceNow and invoke a Webhook using that URI, this is especially for Service Health Alerts.

Please find the service now documentation for Integrating Azure Monitor with basic authentication. Would request you to go through that and see if that caters your need.
