Intune Policy Succeeding but not applying

I am having an issue with my devices. I have configured policy in Intune and it is succeeding but no applying on the actual device. I sync and it works fine but the policy doesn't actually apply even though it says it's there. This is the error message I am getting in Event Viewer. MDM ConfigurationManager: Command failure status. Configuration Source ID: (8B008016-C74A-4AE5-B190-852A1D026610), Enrollment Name: (MDMFull), Provider Name: (Policy), Command Type: (Add: from Replace or Add), CSP URI: (./Device/Vendor/MSFT/Policy/ConfigOperations/ADMXInstall/Receiver/Properties/Policy/FakePolicy/Version), Result: (The system cannot find the file specified.).

    From your description, I know you have deployed an Intune policy but does not work on targeted device.

    Based on my research, I found that the setting type of Prohibit access to Control Panel and PC settings is User, which means the policy should be assigned to user group instead of device group. Please assign the policy to a user group and check whether it can work.
