Recover password for Exchange Online account

I signed up for an Exchange Online (Plan 1) account a few months ago. I put it on the back burner but I'm ready to advance my use of the account. In the login page at 'admin.microsoft.com' I entered my username but I forgot the password. I clicked on 'Forgot my password' in the 'Enter Password' page. This takes me to a 'Who are you?' page with two input fields. I entered my username again, filled in the Captcha field, and hit 'Next'. In the next page, 'Verification step 1', a list of one contact method is displayed: 'Email my alternate email'. It goes to an email address that I don't have access to. Is there anyway that Microsoft can verify my identity another way so that the password on my Exchange Online Plan 1 account can be reset?
