What is wrong with January Windows Cumulative Updates for Windows 11 22H2 and 23H2 are not working? What must Microsoft recommend to fix this issue on most of our company's Windows 11 machines? Why did Microsoft release updates that caused headaches in the enterprise environment?

Almost half of our Windows 11 company laptops have issues with the latest January 2024 Cumulative update KB5034123 with an Unknown Error. Code : -2146498529. I also tried to install the Cumulative Update Preview for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034204) to no avail. I tried several ways to fix it behind the scenes on the solution I found in several forums about this issue, including testing and running the Windows media creation, which I think is the last resort that is not applicable in our environment because of the number of affected machines. Do you think Microsoft will provide an automatic solution for this Windows update problem?
Any help with this issue?
Hi, I am following up to see if there's a solution that I can apply for the corporate environment to fix the January 2024 Windows 11 Cumulative update. I appreciate it if someone could determine if Microsoft is working on fixing this type of issue. We can't find room to do the Windows 11 install to fix this issue. Thanks, JSP

The only thing I have been able to do to resolve this is performing in-place upgrades using the latest Windows ISO.
Running setup /auto upgrade /eula accept as the switches has worked every time, but it's a pretty annoying and time-consuming fix.
The error supposedly is 100% an issue with existing .net files, but I have found no way to resolve it yet.
