Hi I am on the latest version of windows 11 home with all of my drivers updated and what not. My PC will randomly shut off while in a video game every few days. No clue what is causing my PC to do this. It could be due to the new nvme drive I installed beginning of October (Oct 5 or 6) as the earliest this event has occurred according to windows event viewer is October 27th. Here is the full log and a screenshot of the previous errors. If you need more information do not be afraid to ask. Thanks!Screenshot 2024-02-01 164827

Hello The Kernel-Power Event ID 41 error you’re seeing is a critical system error that can cause your computer to restart unexpectedly. This error is logged when the system reboots without first cleanly shutting down, which can occur if the system stops responding, crashes, or loses power unexpectedly.   Given that you’ve mentioned this issue started occurring after installing a new NVMe drive, it’s possible that the drive could be contributing to the problem. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check the NVMe Drive:   Ensure the NVMe drive is properly installed and seated in its slot. Try using a different M.2 slot on your motherboard if available. Check if your motherboard requires any BIOS settings to be adjusted for NVMe drives. If possible, test the drive in another system to see if the issue persists.
    2. Monitor System Temperatures: High temperatures can cause your system to shut down to prevent damage. Use a system monitoring tool to check the temperatures of your CPU and GPU while gaming.
    3. Check Power Supply: An inadequate power supply can cause system instability. Make sure your power supply unit (PSU) can provide enough power for all your system components, especially when gaming which can draw more power.
    4. Run System Checks: Use the built-in Windows CHKDSK and SFC tools to check for and repair issues with your system files.
