Hello, may I know if its possible to enable hyper v replication between 2019 and 2022 OS and vice versa without any issues? What should I take into consideration? Thank you.

    Hi fm22,

Please note that the OS version of the replica server needs to be the same as or newer than that of the primary server. The VM configuration version on Windows Server 2022 is 10.0 by default which is not supported on Windows Server 2019. If you want to do replicate a VM from Windows Server 2022 to Windows Server 2019, make sure the VM configuration version is between 8.0 and 9.0.

    Best Regards,
