Create a VM exercise - sandbox says welcome azure and does not let me proceed without a subscription
Hi Russell,
I assume you are referring to Exercise - Create an Azure virtual machine, which is part of AZ-900. Please let me know if my assumption is incorrect.
I just tested and it displayed the Azure Cloud Shell window on right just as it should after activating sandbox, reviewing permissions, accept, etc.
Please try with a different browser profile or Incognito/InPrivate window to see if it will work this time. By browser profile I mean in Chrome click person icon in upper right -- Guest or in Edge click person icon in upper left corner -- Other profiles -- browse as guest.

What you can do is use Azure Free or Pay-as-you-go account instead of the sandbox for the exercise. I know, the exercise says to use the sandbox, but the sandbox permissions block access. This issue has been known for a while now and I'm not sure if they will fix it or just change the exercise instructions so that it says to use Azure Free instead. Other exercises that require permissions not granted in the sandbox tell you to use Azure Free, so it isn't unprecedented.

I didn't notice the "Prepare sandbox" button at first. Once I clicked that, it worked fine.
