Surface Teams Room Device not showing up in Teams Admin Center

I have a Surface device configured to be a Teams Room device, but I am unable to get it to display on the Teams admin centre, and when I access the account, it says "Unable to sign in" to Microsoft Teams, despite the correct credentials being inputted. Is there a setting I may have missed in configuring the Surface? Any advice would be much appreciated.

It sounds like there may be a few different issues at play here. First, have you checked to make sure that the Surface device is connected to the internet?If it's not, that could be causing the sign-in issue. Additionally, you may want to double-check that the Surface device is properly configured as a Teams Room device. Microsoft provides a guide for setting up a Teams Room device, which includes steps for configuring the device and connecting it to your Teams account.
If you've already gone through those steps and are still having trouble, you may want to try resetting the device and starting the configuration process over again.

Miller, Brad (CEI-Atlanta) 0 Reputation points2024-06-27T07:28:16.3333333+00:00 Most of our MTRw systems are getting this error, but it happens intermittently during a meeting, started around May 9th and we are still trying to fix this issue, SEV A case is open but no one can tell us where to look. We already confirmed conditional access, MFA and compliance are not applied, room accounts are built in the cloud. Looked at firewall, proxy and still can’t seem to find what is happening. We even replaced the pc with one straight out of the box and still happens. Confirmed it’s on latest MTR build 5.0.230.0. We looked through all changes in our org and nothing is related so we haven’t changed anything these were working fine for 2yrs now.

2024-06-27T07:30:47.4666667+00:00 Also reset password for room accounts, most have MTR pro license and not OEM related either we have mostly Logitech with a mix of Intel NUC and Lenovo ThinkSmart, but it also happens on our Crestron systems using Dell OptiPlex 7080 pc’s.
