How to get a notification on a sale from Microsoft store. Webhooks? Periodic polling?

My website generates a license key for a user when they purchase software through my current vendor via webhooks and a listener on my server. Is this method possible in the Microsoft store? Can it send notifications somewhere, that I can programmatically respond to, or is there another method? Perhaps an API that can periodically poll the store for sales?
