Sorting the Teams List export

Question

We have a lot of teams that we want to be perpetual (always going to be there) and more teams that will be spun up and then either deleted or archived when the project is done. Is there a way for me to have a field or mark each perpetual team with a tag so that when I pull the list of teams, I can quickly highlight those perpetual teams in Excel?

There is no built-in way in Microsoft Teams to mark a team as permanent or temporary.

As an alternative solution, you can contact your admin to use the ability to export all teams to Excel in the Teams admin center and filter manually in the table (an empty expiry date column means it's permanent)
