Here are a few common reasons why this might be happening and some steps you could take to try and resolve the issue:

    1. Browser Issue: Sometimes the browser you are using might have compatibility issues with the video format or the website's video player. Try using a different browser to see if the problem persists.
    2. Browser Extensions/Add-ons: If you are using browser extensions, especially ad blockers or script blockers, they can sometimes interfere with video playback. Try disabling these extensions to see if the video plays.
    3. Internet Connection: A weak or unstable internet connection can cause videos to not play correctly. Ensure you have a strong and stable connection.
    4. Website Server Issues: The problem might be on the server side of the course provider. In this case, other users would likely be having the same issue.
    5. Cookies and Cache: Clear your browser's cookies and cache. Sometimes old data can cause issues with loading new content.
    6. Digital Rights Management (DRM) Issues: Some videos are protected by DRM and require specific settings or software to play. Ensure that your browser is up to date and has the necessary components to play DRM content (like Widevine for Chrome).
    7. Flash Player: Although Flash is largely obsolete and many browsers have stopped supporting it, some websites might still use it for video playback. Make sure you have the necessary plugins installed and enabled if this is the case.
    8. Device Issue: There might be an issue with your computer's audio/video codecs or drivers. Make sure your device's software is up to date.
