I am trying to assist a user in my organization with access to allow JIRA as a web app connector on a recently created SharePoint site. Firstly, after I added the user to the SharePoint site, I made them an Owner and they received an email notification indicating the SharePoint group is ready. They selected 'Connect your apps' from the email which opened a web page that displayed an error with the message:
":-( Something went wrong. The user account which was used to create configuration is not part of the group or organization.: Access is denied. Check credentials and try again. RequestId: 416f82b9-5c12-b679-0f6f-384e187f6489."
From within the SharePoint site, when the user tries to add JIRA as a connector they encounter the same error message. They are able to add YouTube as a connector. The error appears to be exclusive to adding JIRA as a web connector.
I am an admin on my organization's M365 account and I made myself an owner of this site. When I attempted to add JIRA as a connector, I encountered the same error. After opening a ticket with Microsoft support, they instructed me to make myself a 'Member' as opposed to an 'Owner' and I experienced the same error message.
Please advise. Thank you!
