Stack settings, under Configuration->General Settings, in App Service, reset to previous version by itself

We recently upgraded few app services to net8.0 and changed the stack configuration accordingly: User's image

But from time to time (sometimes few times a day, sometimes few times a week) the app service stop working, and checking the configuration we find back .NET 7 instead of 8: User's image

We simply change it back to .NET 8, the app service restart automatically, then it works. Logs show no one changed the configuration. What the hell could it be?

@03214309 I think this is something we'll need to work more closely with you on. Do you find the older version reflected when you run az webapp show --name <appname> --resource-group rg?

Hi Ryan, looks like the new version is listed below, right now the app is still up and working.
