I need to login using Entra Authentication to create other Active Directory users.

Did you follow the instructions provided on this documentation? This a common error as you can read here. Make sure you made all the required configurations and the [Entra user is created](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1031697/azure-app-container-to-azure-sql-login-failed-(tok) on the Azure SQL Database. You should also add your public IP address to the Azure SQL firewall whitelist.

The microsoft entra admin is already configured. now I just need to add my IP to the firewall white list?

Did something change recently? I used to have access to the database via Entra ID group membership. Do I need now to also add my ID to the database?

Also regarding IP addresses - I have an IP address assigned by VPN, but the Query Editor appears to have a different IP. Where is that coming from?

I have the same problem, but until recently I was able to query the database.

I noticed that the IP address listed to add to the firewall is not the one assigned to my computer by VPN. Where is that IP address coming from?
