Is it mandatory to delete the existing language resource and create a new one from Azure portal? Will the endpoint change after February 29, 2024?   If we do not upgrade the NuGet package and continue using the existing package, what will happen? Will it throw any errors? Or will the package become unavailable? What will be the outcome if we do not update to Azure.AI.TextAnalytics and continue using the deprecated package? What will be the response after February 29?

Hello @Prasanth Kumar M , Thanks for reaching out to us.

I don't think it's mandatory to delete the existing language resource and create a new one. You can continue with the existing one. However, you will need to update your workloads to use Azure Text Analytics v3 before February 29, 2024, as Text Analytics v2.x will no longer be supported after that date.

We cannot share the exact error response. But if you do not upgrade the NuGet package and continue using the existing package, it may throw errors or become unavailable after February 29, 2024. I think you may no longer be able to use those older versions.

It is recommended that you update to the latest version of the Azure.AI.TextAnalytics package to ensure that your workloads continue to function properly. Try to follow the Migration guide.

The Language service now provides a unified endpoint for sending REST API requests. If your application uses the REST API, update its request endpoint to use the current endpoint: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/language-service/concepts/migrate-language-service-latest

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Vasavi
