Hello,
is there a menu in Azure Portal that allows the user to select multiple VMs
and then restore all these to a single restore point (specific past date) ?

Backup center => Backup instances => Restore
only works with a single Backup instance (VM) each time.
I need to restore all of my VMs at once, so the single instance restore is not really helpful.

Thank you in advance for your time.

Hello @NickB Thank you for contacting us on Microsoft Q&A platform. Happy to help!

Based on the information provided, I understand that you want to restore multiple VMs to a single restore point.

Currently, it is not possible to restore several VMs to a specific point in time (PIT) simultaneously using the same blade in the Azure Portal. You can only restore through separate jobs individually to points close to a single timestamp. There is no single PIT across multiple VMs as these are backed up individually.

Just out of curiosity, would like to know your actual requirement. If you do not want to use backup but just trying to restore multiple VMs to single point in time, then you could even use Azure Site Recovery (ASR) with multi-VM and restore everything to single restore point.

Hope this helps. Please write back to us if you have any questions.
