Hi All,

We have a server in "WORKGROUP" and that needs to be monitored in SCOM 2019. As this server doesn't have FQDN, my understanding is to create a certificate with NetBios name or Short name. Is it possible to create certificate in GoDaddy without FQDN?

Does SCOM accepts if we create a certificate with servername.domain.com (Corporate domain) though the server is not added in Domain?

    Hi @Balaji Suresh ,

You can use a public certificates, you can follow the guide made by Kevin over here:

You shouldn’t need the FQDN, should work also with short name as long as the certificate matches with the Full computer name of your workgroup computer.
