Hello To change the Windows 10 update service to automatic, you can follow these steps:   Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box. Type services.msc and press Enter. In the Services window, scroll down to find Windows Update. Right-click on Windows Update and select Properties. In the Startup type dropdown menu, select Automatic. Click Apply and then OK.   If you’re unable to change the run code value to 2 (Automatic) and it shows an error, it might be due to insufficient permissions. You can try the following steps:   Press Win + R to open the Run dialog box. Type regedit and press Enter to open the Registry Editor. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\wuauserv. Right-click on Start and select Modify. Change the value to 2 for Automatic. Click OK.   If you’re still facing issues, you might want to consider using a third-party tool like Win10Man. This tool can help you enable or disable automatic updates in Windows 10. However, please note that you should use third-party tools at your own risk and ensure they are from a trusted source.
