Hi All

Has anybody experienced this issue for Azure Virtual Desktop.

On an End Users Device after they have subscribed to Azure Virtual Desktop, there seems to be an inconsistency on how the Icons for RemoteApps appear in the Start Menu.

In our environment we have over 3 Work-spaces which are normally represented as a Folder within the Start Menu, the RemoteApps that the End User is Subscribed to should appear under this folder.

Things I am seeing:

  1. Not all Subscribed Workspaces are appearing as Folders;
  2. Not all Subscribed RemoteApps are appearing.

This is with different clients:

  • Azure Virtual Desktop Beta from the Microsoft Store;
  • MSI Remote Desktop Client (64 bit).

Any ideas on any logs, etc to help troubleshooting?

    Hello David McNaughton

    Firstly, apologies for the delay in responding here and any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

    I checked with internal team on this, the beta app in the store currently doesn't support the placement of start menu items. And this is in backlog of the team. We don't have any ETA yet on this.

    Hope this help.
