I use AVG anti-virus. It keeps telling me I have about 15 outdated drivers on various components of my desktop. Does Win 11 check for driver updates?

Yes, Windows Update will also update drivers but sometimes due to compatibility issue it might not install the latest update. The best way is to visit your device's manufacturer website and download and install the latest driver updates from there.

Hello Yes, driver updates can be downloaded from Windows udpate. Here is a link for reference: Update drivers manually in Windows - Microsoft Support But the updates may be delayed compared with device manufacturer website. Or it may not be available if the device manufacturer didn't coroperate with Microsoft (submit to Windows Update).
