Outlook: Changing "Sender" account deletes all message text and recipients list

Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.131.300 (Production). Client Version is 20240202008.12 .

When writing a reply, if I change the "Sender" of an email from one account to another all the message text (including the text from the original message) is deleted and the recipients list is cleared. I have seen other, older threads that suggest this is due to a signature issue, so I have deleted signatures from all accounts and the same error occurs. Does anyone have a solution that works? TIA Steve

    Hi @Steve Simons

    Welcome to our forum!

According to your description, a new empty message pops up when you change the sender in New Outlook. This behavior is by design.
