Can we use the same security groups and Service accounts for two environments at a time (SCOM 2012R2 and 2019)

Hi ,

Can we use the same Security groups and Service accounts for two environments at a time (SCOM 2012R2 and 2019)
Do we get any conflict if we use the same accounts and groups.
If yes how can we avoid the conflicts.

    Hi @shankar431 ,

    Yes you can use the same security groups or domain accounts for as many SCOM environments as you want, there shouldn't be any conflicts just remember if you change the passwords you will need to change the account's passwords in both SCOM environments.

    You should be fine, that should not cause an issue. Probably pretty common for organizations doing side by side upgrade.
