Issue with Azure for student while logging in with GitHub

Hello, a few weeks ago I've verified my github account in the student developer programme.

I've got access to many benefits (and everything works as expected).

The problem started with azure yesterday when I tried to start an azure for student subscription ($100 + many free services for 12 months).

I followed the steps:

  • logged into github (the one with the student developer package enabled)
  • redirected to azure, clicked the try now button to activate the student package
  • logged into github

And what happens now is... the error that github account does not have student developer benefits enabled (again - it does).

What could be the problem?

1 - Copy

The error basically means that it's not possible to verify the status of the student developer package. I should click there to start a verification process to get the github developer package benefits. after verification I can come back to azure and use the azure for students offer.

2 - Copy

4 - Copy

3 - Copy

Thanks for the answer in advance.

EDIT:
About all the guides how to activate the azure student pack...there is no "generate offer code" on github education page. I don't know why. Maybe they just removed it, because most of the services (actually, 99% of them) are now verified by sign in with github instead of generating some codes.

After clicking the GET ACCESS BY CONNECTING YOUR GITHUB ACCOUNT ON MICROSOFT AZURE...happens everything I described above.

Hi CAV, It seems like there might be a few different factors at play causing the issue with your GitHub student developer pack when trying to access Azure for Students. Here are some suggestions that could help resolve the problem: Confirm Student Developer Pack Status: Make sure that your GitHub account is correctly recognized as having student benefits. You can typically verify this in the settings or benefits section of your GitHub profile. Account Consistency: Ensure that you are using the same GitHub account for Azure that has the student benefits. If you have multiple accounts, it's easy to mix them up. Check Notifications: Look through your email and GitHub notifications for any messages from GitHub or Azure that might indicate a need for further action or additional verification. Billing Information: Even if you're accessing free services, Azure may require up-to-date billing information. Check that your billing details are current on both GitHub and Azure. Enable Two-Factor Authentication: If you haven’t already, enable two-factor authentication on your GitHub account. Some benefits might be contingent on this extra layer of security. Browser Troubleshooting: Clearing your browser's cache or switching to a different browser can sometimes solve these issues, as stale data might be causing a miscommunication between services.

I hope this helps with your problem?
