Apology; My query may be a bit basic for this forum. I am confused by the 'Documents' folder in Windows 10. My PC is old. I have a USB Western Digital drive and free copy of Acronis True Image. I want a secure local backup of my data until I can choose a new PC for Window11. I have Microsoft 365 and I think, understand OneDrive and use it. But Windows, by default, saves some of my new files (Notepad does it) in C:\Users*myusername.* They are not saved in the 'Documents' folder that also resides in C:\Users*username* AND not in the'OneDrive' folder that's also there ). I short... is it enough to ask an automatic and regular backup, to copy all files in the C:\Users*myusername* folder? Or others too?

    Hi

C:\users is the folder of all user profiles already connected on this PC. If you want backup user profile and data you should backup the content of this folder.
