is metadata navigation feature is available in modern Team site template?

i was thinking to use modern Team site template for DMS. but problem with meta-data navigation, in modern template doesnt display hierarchy and key filters as drop-down at the left navigation. is it possible to have same hierarchy view in modern template Because i have 300 agents which i need to display as expandable and collapsible way but in modern template dont see anything like that. is there anyway i could achieve same in modern template?

    The classic library Metadata Navigation and Filtering feature does not work the same as in the classic experience but still available, as you mentioned, the “hierarchy and key filters as drop-down at the left navigation” have been removed from modern SharePoint.

    Metadata Navigation and Filtering is displayed in the information panel as Filters in modern experience, and all filters displayed in a flat structure (choices with checkboxes).

    Managed metadata navigation is available in SharePoint modern team site.

    Per my test, after configuring the navigation term set in Term Store Management Tool and then select "Managed Navigation" under Current Navigation via Site Settings > Navigation, the left navigation will display folded in modern experience and expanded in classic experience.
