Hi allI ave a Domain controlloer that resolv "domainname.com" this is internal domain Active Directory. But the same domain "domainname.com" exixt that public domain and have the webpage of my agency deployed. In the last mounth, for internal exigence, the managemente have request the import the server on-prem. We have imported the server in our VM platform and expose the webpage of my agency is an server deployed in DMZ. My problem is: Webpage of my agency redirect the page from "www.domainname.com" to "domainname.com". If i insert one record "@" in my DNS server (Windows Server 2019) that respond also request of Active Directory for domain controller, My Active Directory will have problem with Kerberos, LDAP autentication or GPO policy distribution?

Hello, Thank you for posting in Q&A forum. Yes, it could impact the DNS resolution in some way. It's more recommended to implement a split DNS configuration where you have separate DNS servers for internal and external resolution of the same domain. Or you can also consider creating a subdomain for your internal resources. Proper DNS resolution can bring less AD authentication or LDAP issue. Best Regards,
