How to add images to a table in Outlook based on a cell value

I've built a table in Excel that adds an image to each row of data based on the value of a cell. I want to copy the information from some of the columns into a table in Outlook such that I can keep links (no problem), insert only specific columns (no problem), and insert the images that are based on a cell value. When I copy/paste this column, only the alt text for the images is transferred. There are too many rows to manually add the images. Is there a way to bulk import these images from Excel into my Outlook table? (Copy/paste the table while keeping source formatting also does not work; it still replaces the images with the alt text.) Thanks for any assistance!

    Hi @Tabatha Manley ,

By "insert the images that are based on a cell value", do you mean the images in Excel are added using the IMAGE function as described in this blog? If so, I tried testing in my Office for Microsoft 365(Version2401) and the images can be added in Outlook properly through copy and paste:

    1. In Excel, select the column with images and press Ctrl+C to copy it.
      User's image
    2. In Outlook, place the cursor next to the existing table and press Ctrl+V to paste:

    User's image

User's image Did I misunderstand anything here?

If you have followed the same steps but it still doesn't work, personally I'd recommend trying to draft the table you want to include in the email directly in Excel, then copy the whole table to Outlook and check if it can help.
