If we were to upgrade windows server from R2 2012 to windows server 2022, does our existing SQL Express 2014 affected ? We have database application using SQL Express, worry after upgrade windows server we cant access database apps. Can anyone please help to advise ?

Formal SQL Server 2014 don't support Windows Server 2022. And SQL Server 2014 is out-of-support: https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/lifecycle/products/sql-server-2014 I am sure it will work, but you should consider to upgrade your SQL Server as well; current version is 2022 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/sql-server/sql-server-downloads
