Not able to create Azure Open AI resource

I am not able to create an AzureOpenAI resource with Visual Studio Subscription. It shows a validation error as shown below. User's image

Thanks for sharing the screenshot of the error.

Your Subscription Admin / Subscription owner, seem to have enabled an Azure Policy to deny the Open AI resource creation.

Name of the Azure Policy: "ACE - Deny the creation of OpenAI resources"

You should contact your Subscription Owner and request them to disable / remove this policy inorder for you to create an Azure Open AI Resource.

You can view the policy definition from Azure Portal as shown below:

Open the Azure Portal
Type Policy on the search Bar on the top.
Navigate to the Azure Policy and within the Definitions and Assignment search for the policy name as shown below:
